Professional Treatments For Rosacea
These treatments are carried out in our Knightsbridge clinic. There are a number of possible options. We’re able to advise on the most suitable course of action after a consultation, where Dr Kubicka can fully assess the skin as well as review relevant medical history and past treatments.
Your professional treatment plan could comprise a series of treatments for best results. For example:
- 20% azelaic acid for 1x/5 days (to unblock the blockage)
- IPL Intense Pulsed Light treatment which stimulates skin healing and cell renewal processes within the skin for firmer, tighter, clearer and healthier skin. 3-6 sessions 2 weeks apart (to neutralise low grade infection and encourages the secretion of fluid)
- Thermavein, after 2 months to tackle visible veins
- Course of 6 Circadia Oxygen RX (especially in the case of acne rosacea)
Rosacea Homecare
- Use the right cleanser and rinse/wash with water. Don’t wipe with towel or cotton pads, as the friction closes the pores and sebum stays inside, leading to more inflammation
- Azaleic acid if prescribed (only for 5 days)
- Wait 3-5 mins between and use toner, follow by moisturiser.
