face cream sun damageAt this time of year, tans start to fade and the signs of sun damage become all the more apparent.

So now is the time to tackle lacklustre skin, pigmentation and the seasonal crop of fine lines and wrinkles.

Clinicbe® have a 3-step approach depending on the severity and symptoms of sun damage:

Mild Sun Damage

Signs of mild sun damage include sun spots, mild pigmentation and broken capillaries).

Recommended treatment options include IPL treatment which can also be combined with other treatments such as mesotherapy, microdermabrasion or chemical peel to further stimulate renewal of sun damaged skin.

Mid/Medium Sun Damage

Signs of moderate sun damage include deeper pigmentation, post-inflammatory pigmentation or melasma.

For medium sun damage, we recommend MeLine treatment – a specialist treatment to tackle hyperpigmentation which combines professional peels at Clinicbe with a programme of aftercare at home. The MeLine programme is specifically designed to control pigmentation, decrease melanin production, promote renewal of skin cells, improve sun damage and even out the tone and colour of the skin.

Severe Sun Damage

Signs of severe sun damage include extensive pigmentation, which is resistant to other pigment treatments, melasma.

In such cases, we recommend Dermamelan treatment. Dermamelan was specifically developed to treat hyperpigmentation. The programme includes a special mask applied in clinic, which contains depigmentation agents, accompanied by at home treatments before the mask is repeated.
