The facial starts with Dermastamp microneedling, a process which creates thousands of tiny pinpricks into the top layer of your skin. This is not painful in any way as a numbing cream is applied to the face before treatment and the injuries are very small and controlled. It’s just enough to stimulate the skin to kickstart its repair responses. However, the tiny punctures also make direct channels for the peptides and growth factors to readily enter the skin where they can work to boost the skin’s rejuvenation and recovery mechanisms.
Dr Barbara Kubicka uses JuvE 6® peptides, which work within the skin to stimulate collagen production and hydration. JuvE 6® peptides are Korean in origin – a country which is currently associated with technologically advanced treatments and products for rejuvenating the skin.
