Living a happy, healthy, fulfilled life as simply as possible is mission in life. Having grown up in a large family, meal times were a significant part of my childhood and family life. The family gathered around the table every day, food was enjoyed and our daily trials and tribulations were shared whilst fighting over the last potato. As a very fussy eater as a child, I was fortunate to study home economics as school where I learned the basis of nutrition, food and how to cook and there my love of food, health and wellness was ignited.
Fast forward a few years later and I’m now fully fledged Registered Nutritionist and EFT Advanced Practitioner. Empowering people and enabling them to live happy, healthy lives as simple as possible is at the core of my role. The ‘telling off’ and ‘telling you what you shouldn’t do’ is not my approach. Finding a simple plan of living that suits you and your lifestyle is my goal, I want you want to make changes without your body and mind really noticing, without it being a drag, I want it to come naturally for you. Simplifying nutrition, creating food plans, and compiling dietary advice is all a part of the service to help you achieve your goals and foster a healthy relationship with food, your body and wellbeing.
As well as being awarded with a First class Bachelors degree in Nutrition I also have a keen interest in the power of the mind and emotions.
I am an EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) Advanced Practitioner which is a relatively new technique which helps to get to the root of any emotional stress that may be sabotaging our best will and intentions.
My clients achieve long term results and experience mind and body healing through addressing limiting beliefs, behaviours and emotions. EFT or simply called ‘tapping’ is a quite a new and revolutionary technique. However, the basic concepts are based on 5000 year old Eastern medicine; acupuncture and acupressure, It’s stimulates healing by using the body’s energy flow by tapping on the body’s meridian points. I have an insatiable thirst for knowledge, I like to keep up with the latest findings in research and I am currently undertaking a Masters degree in Nutritional Medicine.
I also work in Nutrition Research at Imperial College Hospital in the Department of Investigative Medicine. I provide bespoke nutrition and lifestyle programmes for weight loss, weight gain, and specific health issues such as fertility, PCOS, IBS, digestive problems and skin conditions.
