All In London Blog

all in londonThe website www.AllInLondon.co.uk celebrates and shares the best of what the capital has to offer with news on events and entertainment from theatre and cinema to restaurants and shopping.

Blogger Laurel has been writing for the site since 2010 and covers style, fashion and beauty stories with the very latest trends, retail openings, shopping and sales, celebrity fashion and trends in the nation’s biggest city.

She recently visited Clinicbe in Belgravia to review Dr Barbara Kubicka’s very own Exquisite Facial, an innovative and exclusive combination of IPL (Intense Pulsed Light technology) and chemical peels which is designed to restore the condition of sun damaged and neglected skin, rejuvenating the skin cells and revitalising complexion for a younger and healthier appearance.

Laurel’s review is below.

IPL Facial Review

If you’ve over-indulged in the sunshine somewhat this summer and your skin is showing the strain, help may well be at hand; Dr Barbara Kubicka’s Exquisite Facial may be the treatment to set you back on the path to skin righteousness.

Designed by Kubicka and available exclusively at her Knightsbridge practice, Clinicbe®, The Exquisite Facial is a unique combination treatment formulated specifically to tackle sun-damaged skin, though it’s effective on a wide range of skin problems from fine lines, wrinkles and age spots to rosacea, acne, scarring and pigmentation issues.

The treatment works on a number of levels and the combination, order and timing of treatments are very important as these work to complement each other for a greater impact. Gentle exfoliation is provided via a chemical peel, used to prepare the skin for IPL, giving a better and faster result by removing the top dead skin cells to promote cell renewal for a brighter, healthier skin. This specially chosen organic fruit acid peel stimulates the natural healing processes within the skin, visibly improving texture and complexion over a course of treatments. IPL is then used to fade vein and pigmentation problems and stimulate new collagen for a firming and tightening effect.

At £250 per session and 3-5 treatments usually recommended, it’s a serious investment, but whilst the effects of sun damage can’t ever be completely reversed, it can go a long way to improving the skin’s condition if yours has taken something of a battering.

The before and after imagery available on Dr Kubicka’s website is testament to that.

Before & After Exquisite Facial

The impressive photos Laurel described are seen below, showing the significant improvement in facial redness in this patient, as well as tighter and smoother skin. What was previously ‘problem skin’ was transformed into a youthful and dewy complexion with fewer lines. Even the difficult neck area was visibly improved through treatment.
