Clinicbe has unveiled a new look for its London skin and health care centre, with an internal refurbishment designed to create a place to relax, get away from it all, and have a bit of peace and quiet.
Yet the refurbishment is more than ‘skin deep’. The clinic has invested in a series of three innovative upgrades, all of which are designed to enhance the experience for its clients and patients, ensuring the highest possible standards of comfort and care.
1. Amethyst Biomat
All couches in our doctors and therapists’ rooms are now equipped with a state of the art Amethyst Biomat.
The Biomat is comprised of 17 layers of textile, copper, aluminium and amethyst stones. This generates:
- Far lnfrared Rays – which generate friction within the body, which then warms the part of your body making contact with the Biomat as well as warming the inside of the body; boosting circulation, relaxing the muscles and tissues surrounding the joints; and relieving pain/discomfort.
- Negative lons – believed to relieve stress and boost energy
- EMF – special layers of fabric in conjunction with the Biomat EMF lnterceptor effectively reduce electromagnetic waves, conducting the electromagnetic field energy away to the ground
The addition of Biomats provides an enhanced treatment experience for all patients who use the couches.
2. AccuVein
The AccuVein is a valuable addition for anyone having injections, cannula or thread lifting treatments. The handheld device enables Dr Barbara Kubicka to locate the veins beneath the surface of the skin using infrared light. Understanding the precise location of superficial veins means that needle-based treatments can be positioned in order to avoid the veins. This significantly reduces the risk of bruising to the point where it is almost negligible.
It is simply a better standard of care, but currently only available at a handful of clinics in the UK.
3. Theta Waves/Emotional Healing
Theta brain waves are considered the subconscious brain activity. They are associated with self-healing, memory, relaxation and emotions; and thus they direct your beliefs and your behavior.
Theta wave stimulation is played during treatment at Clinicbe, which enhances the treatment experience, making it relaxing as well as stimulating the brain. Theta waves are associated with memory and concentration, mind and body healing, deep relaxation and reduced stress and anxiety.
