Clinicbe london

For clients looking for a thread lift in London, Clinicbe® is fully registered with the CQC (Care Quality Commission) for offering this procedure.

Regulations changed in 2019, so that doctors and surgeons are unable to offer thread lifts unless they are registered with the CQC (Care Quality Commission).

This change recognises the complexity and medical nature of the procedure and adds some much-needed control around the standards required. The objective is clearly to make it safer for patients.

Registration with the CQC is by no means and easy feat and exposes clinics and practitioners to regular inspections with public reports about the standards they’ve achieved. Due to the cost and hassle involved, many doctors choose not to register with the CQC and are therefore no longer offering thread lifts (or else are doing so in an unregistered capacity).

It is worth knowing that non-medical practitioners are not exposed to the same regulations as those who are medically qualified, so it is still possible to get thread lift in non-CQC registered companies, but clients should be aware that the practitioner is not likely to have any same medical qualifications.

Finding A Thread Lift Practitioner – Key Points

  1. Check on your provider’s qualifications. Look for a medically qualified professional who specialises in facial rejuvenation and has had additional training in thread lifting procedures
  2. Check whether the clinic is CQC registered and if not, ask why
    1. Medically qualified practitioners MUST be registered with the CQC in order to offer thread lifts
    2. Non-medically qualified practitioners do not have to be CQC registered but do not have the same training and background that experts agree is highly desirable for carrying out a procedure of this nature

CQC Registered Thread Lift Clinic – London

Dr Barbara Kubicka’s Clinicbe® has been CQC-registered for a number of years and the company was very pleased to extend their registration for thread lifts this year, alongside the cosmetic and medical procedures offered.

The clinic is keen to offer a broad range of procedures in order to provide the best solution and advice for each individual client.

Thread lifts are an excellent option for providing an anti-ageing ‘lift’ to the facial tissues which also boosts collagen for a natural-looking refreshment of the face. Removal of this option from the range of treatments would have been to the detriment of patients for whom it is a beneficial solution to sagging tissues.

The clinic offers two types of thread lift procedure:

CQC Status

Clinicbe®’s current CQC status is shown below in information drawn directly from the CQC:

CQC Registration

CQC registration means that the clinic has to be regularly audited to ensure that the Care Quality Commission’s high standards for service and protocols are being met.

Clinicbe® is registered as Doctors/GPs under type of service in the Local Authority of Kensington & Chelsea. It is registered for diagnostic and screening procedures, treatment of disease, disorder or injury and caring for adults under and over the age of 65.

Dr Kubicka says:

“Being registered with the Care Quality Commission is something that many clinics choose not to do due to the cost, work and high standards involved. For many, it is not a legal requirement and many clinics and salons prefer not to be held to account in this way or to have their reports published.

“However, at Clinicbe®, we believe it is very important. It is a way of demonstrating publicly that we meet high standards. Patients are reassured to be able to review  CQC reports and understand the standards that have to be met.

“Extending our registration to include thread lifting was a natural move for us and essential in order to be able to offer this effective and versatile procedure, which has been popular with so many of our clientele.

“Clinicbe® has always been committed to providing the highest levels of service and satisfaction for those we treat.”
