Stimulating and Smoothing Massage
Clinicbe have published a video demonstrating how facial massage is used after Sculptra collagen-boosting injections.
Sculptra injections use a biocompatible and biodegradable injectable material known as poly-L-lactic acid (PLA). PLA is injected into the skin where it naturally stimulates skin cells to produce new collagen.
Due to the way Sculptra® works, the collagen production process works gradually rather than instantly to restore a more youthful look which is very natural in appearance. Replenishing collagen helps to slowly and subtly reduce lines, wrinkles and creases through restoring lost volume.
While traditional dermal fillers only address wrinkles, lines and folds; Sculptra works differently in replenishing lost volume by stimulating growth of your own collagen to treat the underlying cause of facial ageing and giving a more youthful appearance.

After injecting, the Aesthetic Physician carries out a massage process. This stage is just as important as the injections, as the massage ensures that the injectable solution is smooth, level and evenly distributed inside the skin.
Massage is carried out using an upwards motion with gentle pressure to ease the product into place for a beautiful, even and natural-looking result.
Dr Barbara Kubicka explains:
“After it’s been injected, correctly massaging Sculptra in the skin is absolutely essential to getting a smooth and consistent finish. It ensures a flattering, natural and beautiful result.”
Sculptra injections are available at ClinicBe, Knightsbridge, London. More information about Sculptra Collagenesis.

Every patient is different with a unique set of requirements as well as individual physiology. The consultation is the starting point, with discussion of the problems and what the patient is trying to achieve as well as a medical review; after which the doctor can recommend the most appropriate treatment for rejuvenating your eyes.
Advice on skin treatments is only made after extensive discussion and review and suggestions are made from one of London’s best ranges of non-surgical procedures.
