Clinicbe founder Dr Barbara Kubicka has published her first book – ‘The Bath Project – the Art and Science of Bathing’.
Beautifully illustrated with her own photography, the inspiring book is dedicated to sharing Dr Kubicka’s personal passion for the art and science of bathing, which she explains can be very beneficial to the body and skin in a number of ways.
Starting by sharing the history and traditions of bathing, the book moves onto provide specific and science-based advice and information, including how water temperature, duration and time of day can affect the bathing experience and benefits.
Dr Kubicka shares a series of ‘Bath Remedies’ – carefully designed recipes which can be used for specific purposes. There is advice on how bathing can stimulate the immune system, provide relaxation or soothe skin conditions. Bathing can help with sleep, menopausal hormone levels and even heart health.
