Acne Facial – Medical Grade

Acne is defined as a long-term skin condition characterised by areas of blackheads, whiteheads, pimples, greasy skin and possibly scarring.

It is the most common skin condition, affecting 80% of people at some point in their lives. It usually starts in the teens and goes on into the 20’s, although it can be much longer, continuing well into adulthood for some people.

There are 3 levels of severity:

  • Mild acne consists of a few lesions that are close to the surface, and not deep or inflamed
  • Moderate acne is marked by deeper nodular lesions and some redness
  • Severe acne involves many lesions, multiple cysts, and a great deal of redness and inflammation

Acne is caused by bacteria that lives in the skin called P. acnes. P.acnes grow predominantly in sebaceous glands, which produce oil called sebum. It can be highly distressing, causing redness, pustules, blisters and spots which can appear as quite a large rash. It is very important to treat severe acne in order to avoid scarring in the future.

4 Medical-Grade Facial Options for Acne

Clinicbe’s exclusive Acne Medical Grade facials will help to fight with microbes and inflammation as well as brightens. We have 4 variants to ensure the best results to each patient:

  1. Obagi Blue Peel
This light chemical peel is an oil soluble blend of alpha hydroxy This treatment will cause the upper layers of the epidermis to shed, removing damaged skin and stimulates the growth of new, smooth and healthy skin.
  2. IPL
This treatment uses a specific wavelength of energy that reacts to porphyrins (bacterial excretions that cause acne), to form singlet oxygen, which then kills the bacteria. Heat produced in the skin during this process, will stimulate the production of collagen to help repair the skin
  3. Enzyme Peel Mask
A great alternative to a chemical peel, to gently break down dead skin, allowing deeper cleaning and stimulates cell renewal.
  4. IPL+Enzyme Peel
Combination those two methods for stronger results

To complete the facial and achieve the best results Creamy Renewing Mask followed by Plasma Shower and LED Light therapy will be part of the treatment.
