Non-Surgical Procedures for Beautiful and Youthful Eyes

cosmetic injectionsWith a skilled Aesthetic Physician, there are now a number of options which can be used to improve the shape of the eyes, tackle signs of ageing and keep the eyes looking attractive and youthful. All these treatments are non-invasive and most cost under £500.

Botox Injections

Use of anti-wrinkle injections is a very effective option for rejuvenating the eye area. Botox works by disabling fine facial muscle activity so that the skin drapes more smoothly with fewer visible wrinkles.

This is a very popular and effective option for crows’ feet and laughter lines and has the added benefit of stopping the ‘squinting’ action which limits further lines from appearing.

However, did you know that careful and precise use of anti-wrinkle injections can also be used to subtly reshape the eye area? Done well, the result is natural and pretty, lifting the eyebrows and opening out the eyes for a more youthful, alert and fresh look. Heavy handedness and inexpert injections can leave a person looking permanently surprised and overdone, so choose a reliable and experienced practitioner.

Anti-wrinkle treatment sessions take around twenty minutes giving results lasting between 3-9 months. The price of this treatment is from £275, depending on the extent of area being treated.

Dermal Fillers

Where loss of volume beneath the skin is the problem, this can be addressed using the latest facial fillers to build it up to make it appear thicker and more youthful. Care must be taken around the eye area but this treatment can be very helpful, especially for patients whose weight loss has left the eye area looking prematurely aged.

Treatment costs from £400, depending on the extent of area being treated. Results can be expected to last up to 12 months and treatment can then be repeated

Mesotherapy

Dr Barbara Kubicka is known for her extensive use of mesotherapy. The principle behind this treatment is that a cocktail of selected substances eg. Aminoacids, flavanoids, antioxidants and HA is delivered in the form of tiny injections.  also Injected natural ingredients help improve circulation reducing puffiness and darkness under the eyes but as well causes skin tightening and collagen production, enhancing the overall result.

To achieve best results a course of 3 – 6 treatments may be required.

Treatment costs £175 per singular session.

Chemical Peels

A chemical peel is essentially an intensive exfoliating process which removes the top layer of skin revealing fresh new skin beneath. Exfoliating around the eyes is an area which patients tend to avoid at home as the skin is so delicate.

However, a professional peel applied around the eye area can be extremely helpful in tackling fine lines and pigmentation.

PRP

Platelet Rich Plasma is purified from the patients’ own blood. It is rich in proteins and growth factors which can be injected around the eye area to help rejuvenate the skin as well as calm down tired and sensitive skin.

Dermastamp

Dermastamp is a new version of the microneedling principle, consisting of a small pen with needles at the top which allows treatment of the upper eyelids, helping with the tightening process and postponing the need for surgery.

PDO Threads

This innovative treatment is a great addition to treat the area around the eyes. A thread is inserted via a very small cannula which allows for a potentially pain free and bruise free treatment.

PDO Threads give support to the thin and wrinkly skin making it stronger and younger in appearance.

Eyelash Growth Programme

Having longer, thicker eyelashes instantly brightens the eye area – just look at your eyes before and after mascara. However, where lashes are sparse, adding volume is the key. Some people choose false eyelashes, but the optimum solution has to be for the eyelashes themselves to grow longer and thicker.

Prescription eyelash growth serum is now available at Clinicbe in Knightsbridge. With daily use, eyelashes become stronger, thicker and longer. The eyes appear prettier even without makeup. With mascara, the look is even more dramatic and attractive.
