Clinicbe® has produced a video demonstration of the innovative thread lift using PDO threads for a non-surgical face lift. 

The step by step process is shown:

1. Firstly, the treatment area is marked up, indicating on the skin the correct placement and direction for the lift.
2. Secondly, a local anaesthetic is delivered to ensure that treatment is pain-free for the patient.
3. Then a series of super-fine PDO threads are inserted into the skin using a special needle. These are positioned and manipulated to provide an immediately rejuvenating ‘lift’ effect to the skin.

Unlike other thread lift procedures, the PDO thread lift looks quite natural and flattering with results that are noticeable straightaway. Yet over the weeks following treatment, the results are enhanced as the PDO threads stimulate the skin’s production of collagen and also improve blood supply.

This means that skin tissues continue to tighten, making the skin firmer and reducing the looseness that can develop with age. Facial contours are more youthful and pronounced, and the skin has a healthy freshness with better complexion as well as tone.

PDO threads break down naturally within the skin, so there is no removal or adjustment process required.
