Mesotherapy Hydration

Mesotherapy Hydration is a new treatment for dry skin, exclusively developed by Dr Barbara Kubicka at Clinicbe, London.

Dr Kubicka is renowned for her use of tiny ‘meso’ injections in aesthetic medicine to maintain and restore healthy skin texture.

In Mesotherapy Hydration, hyaluronic acid is delivered into the skin, where it can retain incredible amounts of moisture to improve hydration from within.

In addition, the process of mesotherapy injections can work to promote skin rejuvenation by increasing both hydration and fibroblast activation, and re-establishing skin tone and elasticity.

Mesotherapy Hydration

The mesotherapy for hydration treatment takes place in a series of 4 weekly or fortnightly sessions.

In Mesotherapy Hydration treatment, Dr Kubicka uses a careful and systematic approach to ensure that the injections are delivered precisely and efficiently; achieving suitable distribution of injections with a controlled amount of product injected each time to the set depth (i.e. the skin’s mid layer). It is highly accurate, ensuring that the skin is treated thoroughly and evenly.

The actual mesotherapy solution is a special cocktail of products specified by Dr Kubicka, each of which is chosen to improve different aspects of the skin:

  • Hyaluronic acid (non-cross-linked) medium molecular weight
  • Nutritive complex for poly revitalising, including hyaluronic acid, 10 vitamins, 25 amino-acids, 2 co-enzymes, 4 nucleic acids, 2 reducing agents
  • Mesolift cocktail, including hyaluronic acid, sodium DNA, multivitamins BCAE, organic silicium, DMAE

The solution also contains a small local anaesthetic, which ensures that the procedure is comfortable and pain-free throughout, even in sensitive facial areas.

Mesotherapy Hydration treatment delivers these intensely hydrating and nourishing ingredients straight into the mid layer of the skin, where they can be most of benefit in retaining water and providing support for skin cell renewal.

Mesotherapy Hydration

This treatment is recommended for patients who struggle with dry skin:

  • Facial treatments include mid face (cheeks)
  • Suitable for usebelow the eyes (dark circles)
  • Body treatments include elbows, knees, decolletage
  • Treat specific areas of dry, flaky skin e.g. sun damage
  • Suitable for men and women of any age

“In my experience, the use of mesotherapy for skin rejuvenation and hydration is a highly effective treatment. This kind of approach will benefit the long-term health and look of the patient’s skin.

“The treatment can be performed on every skin type with less downtime compared with other aesthetic treatments (e.g. microneedling).

“We have seen excellent results at Clinicbe®, with patients experiencing softer and fresher looking skin with a youthful glow.”

Mesotherapy Hydration FAQ

Mesotherapy can be used to firm, brighten and moisturise the skin by injecting suitable products that are biocompatible and absorbable in the superficial dermis.

The addition of local anaesthetic to the mesotherapy solution ensures that the procedure is quite comfortable. In addition, we can numb the area in advance using gel/cream or ice. The procedure will not be painful at all.

We recommend a course of 4 treatments for best results.

You may notice a bit more of a glow after the first session, but more noticeable results will start to build up with subsequent treatments. Bear in mind that as well as adding hydration to the skin, this treatment is stimulating the body’s natural renewal and healing mechanisms. So in the same way as a wound takes a while to heal, the results of Mesotherapy Hydration will build up over time too.

It depends on the individual – some clients maintain regular Mesotherapy Hydration sessions every 2-3 months in order to keep the benefit of fresh and hydrated skin at its optimum potential; but others may prefer to have it less often.

The procedure involves minimal recovery time. Following mesotherapy treatment, you can return to work or normal activities straightaway. It is a very well tolerated treatment.
