NEW Exosomes Hair Treatment

New regenerating hair/scale treatment

Exosomes are the very latest regenerating treatment.

They are emerging as a strong skin trend, but hair treatment doctors are also discovering very exciting applications for boosting the health of the scalp and hair.

Clinicbe is among a very elite group of non-surgical hair treatment clinics to be offering exosomes for treating hair loss and scalp conditions for both men and women.

What are exosomes?

Exosomes are tiny nanovesicles that are secreted by all cells in the body. They contain a variety of molecules, including proteins, lipids, and nucleic acids.

Exosomes are thought to play a role in cell-to-cell communication, and they have been shown to have a number of potential therapeutic benefits by supporting and promoting healing and renewal mechanisms.

Their potential to improve skin health is hitting the headlines, but exosomes also have some very compelling benefits for treating hair loss:

  • Thicker, fuller, denser hair growth
  • Darker hair colour

As a result, the hair looks noticeably younger and healthier.

What is involved in exosomes treatment?

Exosomes are applied topically to the scalp, but firstly, the skin is prepared to allow the exosomes to penetrate to the middle layer where they are most of benefit. There are 2 treatment options for preparing the skin – Dermapen microneedling or radiofrequency microneedling

  1. Exosomes with Radiofrequency microneedling
RF microneedling provides the power of two treatments in one. Microneedling uses a fine needle to create micro wounds, or channels, in the scalp. This triggers the collagen production, strengthening the follicles and improving their ability to anchor the hair shaft. This results in healthier, thicker hair growth.
The needle releases radiofrequency into the channels, causing additional damage. The RF energy heats up the underlying skin layers, causing skin tightening and stimulating collagen and elastin production. This RF energy is delivered deeply into the scalp, producing better and faster results.
We recommend 3 treatments, 4 weeks apart.
  2. Exosomes with Dermapen microneedling
Dermapen microneedling is an effective, popular and minimally invasive procedure that treats a wide range of skin concerns including scalp and hair.
Dermapen Microneedling uses a fine needle to create micro channels in the scalp. This triggers the collagen production, strengthening the follicles and improving their ability to anchor the hair shaft. This results in healthier, thicker hair growth.
Every treatment includes LED therapy for better results. We recommend a 5 treatments, 2-4 weeks apart.

Exosomes FAQ

ASCEplus HRLV exosomes are safe to use for any hair type and any skin type. They can be used to treat both localised hair loss (patches) or generalised hair loss (thinning).

It is a relatively new treatment, but there is good evidence to support the use of exosomes for skincare. The same principles of healing can be applied to hair loss treatment.

Yes, exosomes are completely safe. They are naturally occurring molecules that are produced by the body’s own cells. Exosomes have been shown to be very well-tolerated in hair loss treatment.

There are no known major side effects.

You can anticipate some localised issues in the treatment area, but this passes quickly and may not even be visible if it is covered by hair growth. Issues may include:

  • Erythema (redness) for the first 1-3 days (can be up to week)
  • Possible oedema or swelling (up to a week)
  • Tiny scabs may appear for few days: do not scratch (moisturise if itchy)
  • Some bruising may occur (for up to a week)

Exosomes are not instant. It takes time for the body’s healing and cell renewal to adapt and hair is naturally quite slow to grow anyway. However, you can expect to see improvements within a couple of months following the treatment

After your initial course of treatment is complete, we recommend a single session once every 3-6 months.

After treatment your skin will appear red and feel sensitive. A mild sensation of heat and stinging may last for a few hours after the treatment but is completely normal. The day after your skin should be calmer in appearance.

  • Avoid washing your hair until the following day after treatment
  • Use gentle products for few days after treatment
  • Rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry with a tissue or clean towel
  • Ensure you have clean hands before touching your scalp
  • Do not swim, use a steam room or sauna until the skin is completely healed
  • Avoid exercise for 24 hours
  • Change pillowcase and towel
  • Do not have any chemical products such as hair spray, gels/mouses, dye/colourant, bleaching treatments until the skin is completely healed, at least for a week.
