What is Involved in a Facial?
Depending on requirements, the basic steps involved in a facial are:
- Preparation – deep cleansing
- Exfoliation – sloughing away the top layer of dead skin cells, revealing brighter skin beneath
- Light peel mask – an additional exfoliation and deep cleansing
- Extractions – troubleshooting any clogged pores
- Soothe – facial massage, using nourishing moisturisers and/or serum
Customised To Suit
- Each facial is customised to suit the patient’s needs
- A different approach is required for acne troubled skin as opposed to dry and lacklustre skin
- The choice of exfoliation methods can be adjusted – it may or may not include a peel. Microdermabrasion could be an alternative
- We also select the most suitable products after exfoliation to suit the skin
