Red Light Hair Therapy

Red Light Therapy (RLT) is a hair stimulation treatment can be of great benefit in protecting the hair and scalp by activating the body’s healing and recovery mechanisms in the area treated.

Clinicbe®’s non-surgical hair treatment clinic based in Knightsbridge now offers red light treatment. This innovative therapy can be used as part of any of our tailor-made programmes for patients who are experiencing thinning hair.

How red light therapy works

Red light therapy helps to boost circulation and stimulate cells to repair themselves. Studies have shown that red or near-infrared laser light promotes tissue repair and regeneration and low-level laser therapy (LLLT) stimulates cellular activity. The theory is that supporting healthy skin cells on the scalp in turn encourages hair follicles to grow hair rather than closing up and ceasing production.

Red light has been demonstrated to help in a host of conditions. This treatment is very versatile – as well as helping hair loss sufferers, red light therapy is also used to help muscle and skin repair. It has a range of potential benefits and is considered a very safe treatment. It uses very low levels of heat and there is no risk of burns.

At Clinicbe®, the red light system used is a professional therapeutic system, which is configured to deliver the right intensity of light to the inner layers and structures within the skin and scalp.
